HeroflowjourneyKIDS
Helping children find steadiness, confidence, and emotional balance through mindful, creative practices and gentle learning.
HeroflowJourneyKids is a calm, creative space supported by years of experience in SEN teaching and trauma-informed practice. Each session blends mindful grounding, playful creativity, and relational safety to help your child settle, express themselves, and grow at their own pace.
A short welcome into the gentle world of HeroflowJourneyKids:
HeroflowJourneyKids is designed for children aged 5–16 who benefit from calmer, gentler learning environments and creative, mindful support — held with warmth, care, and gentle structure.
Feel anxious, sensitive, or over-whelmed
Prefer small groups and attuned guidance
Learn best when supported emotionally, not pressured
At HeroflowJourneyKids, each session supports emotional safety, creativity, and awareness — because growth starts from within.
Feel Grounded:
Children learn simple ways to find steadiness, calm, and safety inside themselves.
They explore emotions and imagination through creative play, mindful doodling, and gentle movement.
Children experience small successes, strengthening their belief in themselves at their own pace.
They learn how breath, body, thoughts, and feelings connect — gently building emotional insight.
Fun, playful activities help learning feel natural again — without pressure or performance.
Light literacy and numeracy support is woven in where helpful, always in a relaxed, child-led way.
Inspired by Earth, Water, Fire and Air, these elements shape a gentle rhythm that supports emotional balance, creativity, and calm learning.
Each session draws from these elements in a natural, child-led way.
Earth represents steadiness and belonging — the feeling of being held by the ground beneath us.
Children begin with simple grounding or movement to settle their body and emotions.
Examples may include:
• breath and body awareness
• sensory grounding
• gentle, playful regulation activities
Water invites ease, curiosity, and imagination.

Fire brings warmth, motivation, and little sparks of bravery.
Children practise taking gentle steps that build confidence and trust in themselves.
Examples may include:
• noticing small successes
• playful challenges
• choosing activities or sharing ideas
Air: Curiosity, Awareness & Connection
Air opens space for wonder, reflection, and communication.
Children develop awareness of thoughts, feelings, and their connections with others.
Examples may include:
• mindful noticing
• simple reflections or journaling moments
• soft conversations or sharing if they choose
Small, relaxed online groups with a simple rhythm:
a short grounding → a playful creative activity → gentle reflection.
Each session adapts to your child’s energy, needs, and comfort on the day — always child-led, never pressured.
Parents receive light, well-being-focused updates highlighting moments of engagement, calm, or creativity — never grades or performance measures.
A gentle creative booklet designed to help children feel calm, centred, and expressive.
It offers simple mindfulness prompts, doodles, reflective questions, and playful activities they can return to anytime.
It’s a small taste of the HeroflowJourneyKids experience — nurturing, imaginative, and emotionally supportive.
With warmth,
Soleia

Hi, I’m Soleia — the founder of HeroflowJourneyKids.
I’m a qualified teacher and experienced SEN tutor with over 13 years of working with children across primary and secondary schools. My background also includes training in psychodynamic counselling and trauma-informed practice, which deeply shapes the way I support children.
Across my work — whether in schools, 1:1 sessions, or creative spaces — I’ve seen one truth again and again:
Children grow when they feel safe, seen, and free to be themselves.
HeroflowJourneyKids was created to offer that kind of space — calm, creative, attuned, and gently structured.
Here, children can breathe, explore, and learn without pressure or performance.
If you’d like to ask questions, book a free trial, or simply get a sense of the approach, I’m always happy to connect.
Each session begins with a short grounding activity, followed by gentle creative or reflective tasks such as doodling, art-making, mindful games, or quiet discussion.
The rhythm is calm, flexible, and always led by your child’s pace and comfort.
I offer light, narrative feedback focusing on well-being, confidence, engagement and emotional shifts over time.
There are no grades or assessments — just warm, reflective notes about what is emerging for your child.
No formal homework.
Sometimes I offer an optional creative or mindful prompt for children who enjoy continuing between sessions.
Simply let me know — I understand that plans can change unexpectedly.
Where possible, I offer a make-up session or a small reflection prompt so your child can reconnect gently.
My approach is trauma-informed and centred on emotional safety.
We move slowly, build trust, and use grounding, sensory and creative tools to help children regulate and feel safe.
The pace always follows your child’s comfort.
